My grandson is 17 and starting lifting in high school PE. I bought him a bench and a pair of these to let him workout during the summer. He loves these and especially the ease of adding or removing weight. They aren't cheap, but all dumbbells have gone up in price. If you wanna play you gotta pay.They also have a classy look to them, so both of us are very happy.
